It deserves more space, more care, and a cleaner planet – so that humans and animals alike can thrive.

Across Denmark, the EU, and many countries worldwide, ambitious goals have been set to move toward true sustainability:
100% renewable energy
100% environmentally responsible materials
100% plastic-free oceans
The vision is simple: zero negative impact on the environment, leading to clean air, clean water, and healthy soil.
These goals are challenging – but art can inspire, encourage, and support the journey.
In 2026, our focus is on achieving 100% renewable electricity, and expanding renewable solutions for power, heating/cooling, and transport.
And perhaps – whenever you see an H. Birk artwork – it reminds you that the world can move in a better direction.
For nature’s own crow – the crown of the trees – stands as a symbol of life, and in my paintings, they sometimes wear a real crown to show that nature deserves our deepest respect.
